Strawberry Park Campround in Preston, CT is proud to present our 17th Annual Cajun Zydeco Music and Dance Festival on Thursday, June 6 through Sunday, June 9, 2013, featuring 4 days of premier Cajun & Zydeco performers from throughout the country, as well as vendors and dance instruction. Strawberry Park is a 5-star campground with full amenities available to all festival attendees, including 3 large pools, whirlpool spas, modern restrooms with free hot showers, a snack bar and much more. Our two music venues include our Amphitheatre Stage and our Rec Center, each with a large wooden dance floor, allow us to minimize the "down time" between performances. Parking is free, and a free shuttle from the day parking lot to the music venue is provided. Weekend passes include free rough camping (if desired), as well as the late-night "after hours" dance. Restrictions
Festival wristband must be worn at all times. While picnic baskets and small coolers are permitted, NO GLASS CONTAINERS. No pets with day tickets or rough camping (pets are permitted with campsite reservations, but not in the music venue areas). Children 12 & under are free, but must be supervised by an adult, whether at the music or at the pools or other areas. Only those with full weekend passes are permitted to park in the camping area and invited to join us for the after hours dance. Those with day tickets for any particular day must park in the day lot, and must depart by 11:30PM.
